FREE Treats in the Streets event returns to the Detroit Historical Museum Sunday, October 27th

"TREATS IN THE STREETS" RETURNS TO THE DETROIT HISTORICAL MUSEUM FOR ITS 11TH YEAR SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27TH

DETROIT -- Ghosts and goblins, beware!  Taking place in the Detroit Historical Museum's signature Streets of Old Detroit exhibit, kids 12 and under are invited to celebrate Halloween and go back in time in a fun and family-friendly environment at our 11th annual Treats in the Streets event. After a year away due to the Museum's extensive renovations, this popular event returns on Sunday, October 27 from Noon to 3 p.m. and is free for all!

Children can go trick or treating in the Streets of Old Detroit, enjoy free refreshments, be astounded by the magic of The Amazing Clark and make a spooky craft to take home. We encourage you to come in costume; come as you favorite superhero, entertainer, or historical figure!

Long-time favorite ventriloquist Richard Paul is back to entertain guests with his "Ha Ha Halloween" show -- a non-scary, ghoulishly funny, spectacular that features music, magic, and audience participation, as well as his array of life-size puppets -- in the Louise C. Booth Auditorium.

This event is sponsored by HAP.  For more information, call (313) 833-1801 or check out our website at detroithistorical.org.
